Cleats, shin guards, socks and soccer balls. All of these can add up and become
costly to parents on a tight budget. With children that grow so fast it seems they need a
new pair of shoes every season, many parents find it difficult to afford the cost of
keeping a child on an organized sports team.

Gadsden AYSO does not believe the financial burden of equipment should require
any child sacrifice their love of the game.

For this reason Gadsden AYSO, a NEW AYSO Region, has developed the Pass-
Back Program. The program allows children who meet approved circumstances to be
eligible to receive donated sports equipment.

Kids grow so quickly they may wear one size shoe and by the next season
they've grown out of them. These next-to-new shoes can do a lot
more good on the feet of a child who cannot afford to buy their own than resting on a
shelf in the garage. The really neat thing is that you'd never know that they were
donated.

To make a donation to the Pass-Back Program drop off
equipment at any AYSO 1513 event.
